Overview
In nature, freshwater shrimp spend most of their time grazing on biofilm that naturally develops on rocks, wood, plants and other submerged surfaces. This biofilm is composed of beneficial microorganisms, microalgae and organic particles that provide a continuous source of nutrition throughout the day.
In modern aquariums, however, efficient filtration and regular maintenance often reduce the availability of these naturally occurring food sources.
LGND Shrimp™ Liquid has been specially formulated to supplement this natural diet by creating an ultra-fine suspension that gradually settles onto aquarium surfaces as a microscopic nutritional film. This closely mimics the way shrimp naturally forage, allowing them to graze continuously without competing for larger food particles.
Formulated with premium marine proteins, nutrient-rich microalgae and carefully selected natural ingredients, LGND Shrimp™ Liquid supports healthy moulting, steady growth, successful breeding and overall vitality. Newly hatched shrimp particularly benefit from the fine particle size, as food becomes available exactly where they spend the first stages of their life.
Regular use also supports the development of beneficial microorganisms that contribute to a biologically balanced aquarium.

Suitable for planted freshwater aquariums.
Directions
Shake well before use.
Dose 2–3 drops daily for a medium-sized shrimp colony.
Distribute the food into an area of gentle water circulation to allow the fine particles to settle naturally throughout the aquarium.
Adjust the dosage according to colony size and feeding response.
Avoid overfeeding.

Complementary feed for ornamental freshwater shrimp.
Composition: Water, Shrimp Meal, Krill Meal, Spirulina (Spirulina platensis), Chlorella (Chlorella pyrenoidosa), Brewer's Yeast, Whole Egg Powder, Maltodextrin, Sunflower Lecithin.
Nutritional Additives per litre: Vitamin C 2,000 mg, Vitamin E 500 mg.
Naturally occurring nutrients per litre: Vitamin A (β-Carotene) 2,331 µg, Vitamin B2 0.23 mg, Vitamin B9 16.2 µg, Iron 15.3 mg, Magnesium 106.8 mg.
Naturally rich in: Marine proteins, essential amino acids, chlorophyll, phycocyanin, carotenoids, β-glucans and natural antioxidants.
FAQ
Is LGND Shrimp™ Liquid suitable for baby shrimp?
Yes. The micronised particles are small enough for newly hatched shrimp and provide nutrition during the earliest stages of development.
Can adult shrimp eat it?
Yes. It is suitable for shrimp of all ages and can be used as part of a varied feeding programme.
Does it create biofilm?
The product is not a biofilm itself, but it settles as an ultra-fine nutritional film that closely mimics the natural surfaces shrimp graze on while supporting beneficial microbial activity.
Will fish also eat it?
Some fish may consume part of the suspension. This is completely normal and does not affect the product's suitability for shrimp.
Can it be used every day?
Yes. Daily feeding is recommended to provide a continuous supply of highly digestible nutrients.
