Legend Viscid™ is a professional rapid-curing cyanoacrylate adhesive specially formulated for aquarium and aquascaping applications. The advanced formula provides exceptional adhesion to wood, stones, plastics, and decorative materials commonly used in freshwater and marine aquariums.
Legend Viscid™ is ideal for aquascaping layouts, attaching mosses and epiphytic plants to hardscape, securing stones or driftwood, and general aquarium maintenance or decoration assembly. Its fast-curing composition allows aquascapers to securely bond hardscape materials with precision while maintaining excellent humidity resistance once cured. Legend Viscid™ is designed for demanding environments where reliable adhesion, fast setup, and long-lasting performance are essential.
The polymerization process is initiated by atmospheric moisture, enabling rapid bonding performance with minimal waiting time. Under optimal humidity conditions, bonding occurs within seconds depending on the material being used.
Indications
Legend Viscid™ is recommended for bonding aquarium stones, driftwood, plastics, decorative structures, aquascaping hardscape materials, coral fragments, mosses, and epiphytic plants. It is suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums where rapid curing and strong adhesion are required.
The adhesive performs exceptionally well in humid environments and develops a durable bond resistant to moisture once fully cured. It is particularly useful during aquarium setup, hardscape construction, aquascape repairs, or when securing plants onto wood and rock surfaces.
Legend Viscid™ may also be used for terrariums, paludariums, and other humid botanical environments where precision bonding is necessary.
Directions
All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from grease, dust, or contaminants before application. Apply a small amount of Legend Viscid™ to one surface only and immediately bring both components together.
Carefully align all components before joining. Once bonded, repositioning is not possible due to the rapid curing nature of cyanoacrylate adhesives. Maintain light pressure without movement for at least 5 seconds. Avoid handling the bonded area until the full bonding time has elapsed.
Bonding performance varies depending on the material and surrounding environmental conditions. Under normal ambient conditions of approximately +20°C and 60% relative humidity, stones typically bond within 5–30 seconds, wood within 1–15 seconds, and plastics within 1–10 seconds.
As cyanoacrylate polymerization is activated by atmospheric moisture, optimal performance is achieved when relative humidity exceeds 50%. Higher humidity levels also help reduce monomer evaporation and minimize fume formation. In continuous bonding applications, adequate ventilation should always be maintained.
Store the product upright in a tightly sealed container between +5°C and +25°C in dry, dark conditions. Uncapped containers may absorb moisture from the air and deteriorate rapidly in performance. Lower storage temperatures may help prolong shelf life.
Shelf life is approximately 6 months from the date of manufacture when stored unopened under recommended conditions.

Can Legend Viscid™ be used underwater?
Legend Viscid™ is designed primarily for dry application before introducing materials into the aquarium. While cyanoacrylate adhesives can cure in moist conditions, best bonding performance is achieved on clean and dry surfaces.
Is Legend Viscid™ safe for aquariums?
Once fully cured, Legend Viscid™ is suitable for aquarium use and can safely be used on aquascaping materials such as stones, driftwood, and plastics.
How quickly does the adhesive cure?
Curing time depends on humidity, temperature, and the material being bonded. Most surfaces bond within seconds under normal room conditions.
Can bonded parts be repositioned after joining?
No. Due to the rapid-curing nature of cyanoacrylate adhesives, components must be aligned correctly before joining.
