Directions
Before replacing the sealing washer, completely close the CO2 cylinder valve and release any residual pressure from the regulator. Remove the regulator from the cylinder and inspect the existing washer for signs of wear, flattening, cracking, hardening, deformation, or other visible damage.
Carefully remove the old washer and ensure that the sealing surfaces on both the regulator and cylinder connection are clean and free from debris. Install the new silicone washer in the regulator fitting, ensuring that it sits evenly and is correctly aligned within the sealing recess.
Reconnect the regulator to the CO2 cylinder and tighten according to the regulator manufacturer's recommendations. Avoid excessive force, as overtightening may reduce the service life of the sealing washer.
Once installed, slowly open the cylinder valve and inspect the connection for signs of leakage. If required, perform a leak test using an appropriate leak detection solution before placing the system back into operation.
